Broiler Poultry Management Week by Week

Brooding temperature, feed phases, ventilation and vaccination for a healthy broiler flock.
Week 1 — Brooding
Start at 33–35°C, reduce 2–3°C per week. Pre-warm the shed 24 hours before chicks arrive. Provide chick paper feed for the first 3 days.
Weeks 2–3 — Grower
Switch to grower feed, maintain litter dryness and 24/7 water access. Vaccinate against ND and IB per schedule.
Weeks 4–6 — Finisher
Increase ventilation as birds grow. Watch for coccidiosis: bloody droppings and huddling birds need immediate treatment.
Biosecurity always
Foot dip at the entrance, no outside visitors in the shed, dispose of dead birds away from the flock.
