Long coat needs daily brushing. Flat faces make them prone to eye discharge and breathing trouble in heat.
Siamese
Vocal, social and clever. They dislike being left alone all day.
Domestic Shorthair (desi cat)
Hardy and low maintenance — often the healthiest choice. Still needs vaccination and deworming.
Litter and indoor care
One litter box per cat plus one extra, scooped daily. Keep fresh water away from the food bowl — cats drink more that way.
